Living in Paris it would be almost impossible not to know that France and Portugal will be squaring off in the Eurocup Final tonight.  In a rare and uncharacteristically wild display of national pride Parisians have been draping themselves in the red, white and blue of their flag and breaking into spontaneous song throughout the city.   I must admit, I like it.   For this city that has seen so much bad weather, bad news, strikes, protests and violence over the last year this passionate and exuberant display of positivity is both welcome and contagious – especially accompanied by a gloriously hot summer’s day.    And so I say….“Allez Les Bleus!!”
