Here is a collection of some of the photos I took from our trip to Cadiz and the Andalusian Coast in mid-October. I hope you enjoy them.
Madird aiprort is fascinating
We eat meat here!
Caballero
Our condo complex in Zahara de los Altunes
Our beautiful, empty beach
Why, hello there Tracey
Fishermen
Laundry day
Wait Gary….don’t jump!
The mascot keeps watch
Bolonia: Roman Ruins of a fish salting village
A scale model of the original village
Baaaaahhhhh
The coast of Bolonia with a giant sand dune in the background
A day trip to figure out what exactly the “Rock of Gibraltar” is…..conclusion? – It’s a big British Rock between Spain and Africa
…and I do mean British
See the holes in the rock? Those are tunnels dug to act as defensive positions and for safety
Go slow for butterflies?
I think rabbits are quick…but we’ll go slow
A big cave in the middle of the big rock
Yup, the Queen stood RIGHT HERE! (I should be thrilled??)
The single runway for the International airport on Gibraltar goes right across the middle of the only road in/out. When planes come or go the cars have to wait – just like at a railway crossing
Can’t go to Andalusia Andalusian going to the Palace in Jerez to see the Anadlusian horses
And to wrap up a great trip….2 days in Madrid
I love Flamenco and can’t visit Spain without going to see some.
